At Copilhost, you can create Staging sites to test changes safely.

A staging site is a clone of your live website where you can perform tests or make modifications without affecting your production site.

Once you are satisfied with your changes, you can sync them to your live site in a single click.

Create the Staging site

  1. Go to your Sites listing and click the "Manage" button for the site you want to clone.
  2. Navigate to the "Staging" tab and click the "Create" button in the top-right corner.
  3. Give your staging site a name to help you identify it.

Make your changes

Click the "Login" button to access the staging environment. You can now perform any tests or updates. This will not impact your live website.

Deploy to Production

Once you have finalized your changes, click the "Push to Prod" button.

This will deploy all modifications from your staging environment directly to your live production site.

Manage your Staging

You can keep the staging site in your list for future updates, allowing you to always test changes before they go live.

Alternatively, if you no longer need it, you are free to delete it from your Cloud.
